The Academy groups are for junior players that have a desire to compete in tournaments and push themselves to become the best players they can be. The Apex Tennis Academy is taught by several of our professional coaches, always keeping with appropriate player to coach ratios, allowing for our players to get a lot of active practice time while staying focused on the appropriate skills.
Space is limited in these programs and players must be approved for the program by one of our coaches. To inquire about the Apex Tennis Academy please call Apex Racket and Fitness Center at 207-775-6128.

Regular competitive match play is strongly encouraged for all academy participants. Applying learned skills in a competitive match situation will help the student build confidence, understand their own playing style, as well as realize any weaknesses to improve. Fitness will also be included in the sessions. Like any other sport, emotional control and positive attitude are critical elements for success and will be enforced at each academy clinic.
