We offer two types of week long Tennis Camps for 2025: Junior Tennis Camp and Apex Academy Camp!
Junior Tennis Camp is for students aged 6 – 18 Years!
Apex Academy Camp is for competitive students with approval aged 12 – 18 Years!
Registration will open on January 29, 2025. We highly encourage you to register online through your member portal! If you have not done anything with us before, please go to apexracketandfitness.clubautomation.com to set up your account! If you have multiple children you are trying to register, please set up the account for the 1st child and then in your member account click on view my info. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and you will see add family member! You then can register all children for camp! If you have any issues, please email us at juniors@apexrfc.com.

Full Day Tennis Camp (8:30 -9am drop off– 3:00pm pickup)
* Fridays end at 12pm
Half Day Tennis Camp ages 6- 8 yrs only (8:30-9am drop off -12pm pickup)
*We offer a very limited number of 1/2 day camp spots for kids that are between the
ages of 6 - 8 years only
* Thornton Academy is a 4 day 1/2 day camp for kids that are between the ages of 6 - 16 years.
*All Camp payments are due at the time of registration.
*Refunds are allowed with a 30 day notice.
Junior Tennis Camp - Offered through other Communities 2025 Schedule

Junior Tennis Camp
Held at Westbrook High School, Cape Elizabeth, Thornton Academy and Waynflete Fore River Fields in Portland.
All levels are welcome for this program. These camps are geared towards those beginner to intermediate level students aged 6 -18 Years. The teaching staff is either PTR or USPTA certified Tennis Teaching Professionals and all our camps are under adult supervision. On poor weather days we will move indoors to Apex Racket and Fitness at no additional charge to the student. We have limited spots available, so please sign up early.

Apex Academy Camp
These camps are meant for more advanced junior players who are preparing for school teams, tournaments & USTA Junior Team Tennis and an active player in Apex UTR match plays. Players should be age 12 – 18 and participate in our Apex Academy Programs or similar program. Students in our Adv. 12U or HS Training (On a case by case) may also be granted permission to participate providing they have demonstrated the skills required for our Academy Camp. The teaching staff is either PTR or USPTA certified Tennis Teaching Professionals and all our camps are under adult supervision. On poor weather days we will move indoors to Apex Racket and Fitness at no additional charge.
2025 Apex Summer Tennis Camp
The Apex junior tennis program offers a full-day tennis camp for all levels of players, ages 6 to 18 years old. During the day, we offer four hours of on-court tennis instruction coupled with fun, non-tennis related activities for camp participants.
Junior Tennis Camp
We have created our camps to introduce tennis in a fun atmosphere at various outdoor/indoor locations in Southern Maine. For the younger players we follow the USTA Quick Start program, which supports a smaller court size and easier to hit tennis balls. All students will learn and improve on their ground strokes, volleys, serves, & match play. All teaching professionals are USPTA and PTR certified, including our junior helpers.

Our Academy Camps are geared towards the high level junior players who are preparing to play on their School Team, tournaments, UTR or USTA Junior Team Tennis. Students in our Adv. 12U or HS Training (On a case by case) may also be granted permission to participate providing they have demonstrated the skills required for our Academy Camp.
